Bruker/SILS Outstanding Scientist Award to Claudio Masciovecchio

Bruker/SILS Outstanding Scientist Award has been given to Claudio Masciovecchio on September the 23rd during the SILS conference in Bari. The prize was assigned to Masciovecchio since he achieved outstanding results within 20 years of scientific activity in the field of synchrotron radiation, developing novel spectroscopies such as Inelastic X-ray Scattering, Inelastic UV Scattering, UV resonance Raman spectroscopy and Free Electron Laser based Four Wave Mixing.

The Società Italiana di Luce di Sincrotrone (SILS) - Italian Synchrotron Radiation Society is the independent and multidisciplinary scientific society which represents expert researchers and users of synchrotron radiation and free electron lasers since 1992. Members are active in all major scientific fields: physics, materials science, chemistry, earth sciences, biology and medicine.
