CURRICULUM VITAE ET STUDIORUM
- 2020-Present. National Scientific Habilitation for Associate Professor, awarded by the Italian Ministry MIUR. Scientific Area: 02/B1 - Experimental Physics of Matter.
- 2019-Present. Permanent research staff at the Low Density Matter beamline of the seeded Free Electron Laser FERMI Elettra-Sincrotrone Trieste S.C.p.A. in Trieste.
- 2016-2019. Scientific collaborator at the Low Density Matter beamline of the seeded Free Electron Laser FERMI Elettra-Sincrotrone Trieste S.C.p.A. in Trieste. I am mostly in charge of the maintenance and development of the beamline, with particular focus on detectors, and scientific support in all LDM beamline related activities.
- 2015-2016. Postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Ultrafast Imaging (CUI) of the University of Hamburg (Gemany) and Center for Free Electron Laser at DESY campus, mainly on a project aiming at imaging strong field electron emission from Silicon nanotip arrays by means of velocity map imaging spectroscopy.
- 2012-2014. Ph.D. student in Physics at the University of Trieste with an ELETTRA Sincrotrone-Trieste fellowship with the general topic “Experimental activity with synchrotron radiation”. The research project aimed at studying the electronic structure of isolated species in the gas phase by means of photoionization spectroscopy.
