Learning about the world and sharing the findings with others has always been my biggest passion. Both professionally and privately I get interested in a lot of things. Broad knowledge across different scientific and non-scientific disciplines, combined with strong analytical thinking that I have acquired during my studies and work, gives me the ability and opportunity to tackle and solve diverse real-world problems.

Lately I have been drawn into the intersection of IT and science and technology, focusing on innovations in digitalisation of complex experimental workflows and processes, including emerging technologies (AI, ML) and scalable IT systems. I mostly use and make computer tools; however, I am not afraid of getting my hands dirty in a workshop or a laboratory. Having lived in Slovenia, Germany, Belgium, France and Italy, I feel at home in an international environment.

  • Researcher in the Scientific and Quantum Computing team of Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste.
  • PhD in Physics (Université libre de Bruxelles (Brussels, Belgium) and Institut Laue Langevin (Grenoble, France))
  • Current research activities in novel AFM setups, complex data analysis systems, and CT workflows.
