I am Marco Bianchi, and i am a researcher at the SuperESCA beamline on ELETTRA (IT).

My research is dedicated to the experimental exploration of the electronic structure of systems characterized by strong spin orbit splitting, topological insulators, graphene, transition metal dichalcogenides, thin films and semiconductors, using high resolution Angle Resolved PhotoEmission Spectroscopy, XPS, XPD and STM.

I am involved in the design and commissioning of the new SuperESCA beamline and endstation for ELETTRA 2.0, exploiting the experience acquired in designing, building, commissioning and running the multipurpose ARPES end station on the SGM3 beamline at the synchrotron radiation facility ASTRID2 in Aarhus (DK).
