I am a Linux System Engineer and ICT Specialist for Beamlines at Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste, specializing in Edge & HPC Computing. I designed the multi-node GPU architecture for Integra STP via Celery/Redis and lead the RAFEC framework (Remote application for Edge Computing) for container-based web remotization. My expertise includes REST API design, system tuning, and large-scale data management, having developed the middleware for archiving more then 300k raw datasets totalling 1.3 PB of scientific data on IBM Spectrum Archive. Currently, as a member of the Scientific and Quantum Computing (SciQC) team, I bridge advanced infrastructure with the frontiers of AI and local LLM integration, ensuring seamless system evolution for global research.
