A Year of Work for Elettra 2.0

On 2 July 2026, one year after Elettra was shut down to begin the Elettra 2.0 upgrade programme, we are releasing a short video highlighting some of the major activities carried out over the past twelve months.

The video captures key milestones of an intense year of work, from dismantling and installation to the preparation of the new infrastructure, made possible by the commitment of the many technical and scientific teams involved in the project.

An opportunity to share the progress achieved so far with our community and to thank everyone contributing to the future of Elettra.
