Meeting with the Mayor Dipiazza to present Elettra's Green Energy project

Professor Giovanni Comelli met with the Mayor of Trieste, Roberto Dipiazza, to present Elettra's Green Energy project, ahead of the upcoming groundbreaking ceremony.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the project's progress and strategic importance, highlighting Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste's long-term commitment to sustainability. It also marked Comelli's first official visit to City Hall since taking office as President of Elettra.

During the meeting, Mayor Dipiazza shared updates on the Porto Vecchio–Porto Vivo urban regeneration programme. The visit, held in the Salotto Azzurro at City Hall, concluded with the customary exchange of institutional gifts.
