Visit of the Municipal Administration of San Dorligo della Valle–Dolina

On Wednesday, 23 September, Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste welcomed a delegation from the Municipal Administration of San Dorligo della Valle–Dolina, led by Mayor Aleksander Coretti.

The visit provided an opportunity to gain a closer insight into the activities of our research centre, the scientific applications of the two light sources, Elettra and FERMI, and the Elettra upgrade project.

Following a general presentation and a more in-depth technical overview, the delegation visited the Linac and the FERMI experimental hall, gaining first-hand access to the facilities where research activities take place.

The visit offered an opportunity for dialogue and exchange with the local administration, sharing the Centre’s scientific activities and the projects supporting its ongoing development.
