Dear all, It is with great sorrow that we announce the untimely and unexpected demise of our friend and colleague Arturo Falaschi, on Tuesday June 1st . We participate in the grief of his family and friends. This is a great loss for the whole scientific community. Arturo was the driving force in the organisation of the meeting and it is thanks to his efforts that we had the opportunity to involve the Scuola Normale Superiore and to secure the great location of San Miniato. We wish to dedicate the meeting to his memory, since we believe this would be the best way to commemorate his outstanding personality, both as a man and as a scientist.

are pleased to announce the 1st Workshop on

R3: DNA Replication, Recombination and Repair

to be held at the Conservatorio Santa Chiara, San Miniato (Pisa)
between the 30th of June and the 2nd of July 2010.

Aim

The aim of the workshop is to act as a focus for the Italian scientific community working on replication, recombination and repair so as to:

  • Create a R3 network in Italy
  • Favour national and international collaboration in the R3 research area
  • Facilitate the mobility of young researchers

DNA repair and recombination mechanisms
Cell cycle and genomic (in)stability

Registration and abstract submission

The deadline for registration and abstract submission is the 15th of May.
