Introduction

The Ninth ELETTRA USERS' MEETING, will be held in Trieste, on Monday and Tuesday, December, 3-4, 2001.

The program will include reports on:

• The status of ELETTRA;
• Beamlines and projects;
• Experimental results

In order to present their results, all Elettra users are urged to submit abstracts.

Most contributions will be presented in a poster session. A few will be selected for oral presentation.
