CERIC-CEI CONTACT Workshop

The workshop CERIC-CEI "Training in advanced material characterization in Large Scale Research Infrastructures" will take place in Trieste (Italy) on June 26/27.

The workshop will be organized within the framework of the projects CONTACT, co-funded by CEI and Horizon 2020 ACCELERATE, supporting the long-term sustainability of large scale research infrastructures (H2020-INFRADEV-03-2016-2017). 

The objective of the workshop is to introduce researchers to the scientific opportunities available for them in CERIC, as well as to guide them in writing successful proposals to get free open access to top-class EU research infrastructures. The training includes practical sessions at the CERIC facilities in Trieste.

The workshop is open to researchers at any career stage. A limited number of grants, covering the full costs of travel and accommodation, will be available for participants from target countries: Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, FYRO Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey and Ukraine.
