ESOF2020 Trieste: the preliminary program

The revised provisional program of ESOF 2020 has been presented. 18 themes spread in 3 tracks to cover a wide spectrum of current issues at the interface between science, industry and society. The concepts of sustainability and innovation permeate the three tracks of the programme, with the aim of fostering discussion on how innovation can be made sustainable as well as how innovation can help boost sustainability in a variaty of fields and processes. Alongside the main programme a rich offer of plenaries, keynote sessions, workshops and special events will place in presence and in virtual or hybrid modality. Elettra - Sincrotrone Trieste will be present with a booth in Hall 28 and also in the RICE exhibition booth, located in the same hall, as part of the Working Group. Among the other initiatives: two scientific panels:  "Filming Electrons in motion" and a  presentation of the project Exscalte4Cov; and also, within the Science in the City Festival, a conference with a musical performance for the GEMINI project, Science Cafès to meet resarchers, and the game Scienziopolis to amuse young visitors.
