Is it possible to describe science in 3 minutes? Maybe. But doing it in a fascinating way is something for daredevils, as the young scientists who faced themselves yesterday at the FameLab Show, during Scienzarteambiente 2014.
The budding science promoters, presented by the comic duo I Papu, have shown their best communicative and theatrical talents, with the aim to be awarded the yearned title.
In the end the applause from the audience awarded Riccardo Cucini from Sincrotrone Trieste who, throwing little balls to the audience, explained in a captivating way the spectroscopy’s functioning and use.
In the challenge, supernovas, “alien shrimps” and soap bubbles were engaged. The game have been even more compelling since all the participants arrived to the finals – and, in the Riccardo Cucini and Simone Kodermaz, to the podium – of the FameLabItalia local selection. The talent show was born in 2005 in Great Britain within the Cheltenham Science Festival and it landed in Italy in 2012.
