The magnetic end-station houses a 2.0 Tesla electromagnet working in tandem with a X-Wollaston polarimeter for time resolved ellipsometry experiments, a fast single photon-counting MCP-phosphorous position detector for scattering experiments and 4 K ARS closed-cycle cryostat. These are interchangeable with detectors and instrumentation from external users: the modular design of the beamline guarantees the necessary flexibility to a broad class of experiments
