1996 - 2000: Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry, University of Cambridge, Pembroke College, UK (awarded on 24/01/2001).
Thesis title: “A 4K interferometer for emission studies on surfaces”;
Advisor: Prof. Sir. D.A. King.
Research activity on dynamical processes on surfaces using infrared spectroscopy.
Awarded with Oppenheimer Trust scholarship (1996-1999).
Awarded with European Trust scholarship (1996-1999).

1988 - 1994: First degree in Physics, “Laurea in Fisica” at the University of Trieste, Italy. Mark: 110/110 cum laude.
Thesis title: “Adsorption site determination by means of high energy photoelectron diffraction: Pd(110) (2x1) p2mg-CO”;
