Chemistry and synchrotron radiation

The Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Trieste is organizing a scientific meeting open to the public in which researchers from Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste will illustrate the characteristics of different light beams and their potential use for the study of chemistry. The objective of the meeting is to reveal common research interests and promote synergies with the research groups of the University of Trieste with regard to scientific and educational activities.
 
The meeting will take place in the afternoon of Thursday April 11th and Friday April 12th on the ground floor of the right wing of the main building of the University of Trieste (Piazzale Europa 1) and is open to anyone who is interested. The scientific presentations of 14 researchers from Sincrotrone-Elettra will be introduced by Professor Alfonso Franciosi, Chief Executive Officer of Elettra Synchrotron.
