Abstract
KSRC, based on two 0.45 and 2.5 GeV storage rings, is in operation since 1999. It provides for users =1200 h/year. There are 12 beamlines in operation and for testing (9 for x-ray and 3 in VUV regions). The main part of scientific programme is devoted to Materials Science. The presentation gives some first results of EXAFS, topography, deep x-ray lithography etc. Special attention is paid to VUV and IR investigation of two materials: 1) thin carbon erosion films with high deuterium content, formed in TOKAMAK-10 (for ITER fusion project); 2) thin C60F2x films with ferrielectric transition for the C60F18 case.
