Biography
2007-now First researcher at the Elettra synchrotron light laboratory, head of the BaDElPh beamline. 2001-2007 Researcher at the Elettra synchrotron light laboratory, SuperESCA beamline scientist. 2002 Doctorate in Physics at the University of L'Aquila. Thesis title: Low temperature instabilities of the metallic (sqrt3×sqrt3)R30° adatom structures on Ge(111) and Si(111). Supervisors: Proff P. Picozzi, S. Santucci, and S. Modesti. 1999-2001 PhD student in Physics at the University of L'Aquila and research fellow at the TASC-INFM National Laboratory of Triest, working on "electron-electron and electron-phonon interactions on semiconductor surfaces" and "structure and order-disorder transitions of surfaces". 1997-1999 Research Fellow at the TASC-INFM National Laboratory of Triest, working on "metal-insulator surface phase transitions studied by electron spectroscopies and STM". 1996-1997 Civil service at the "Comunità di Capodarco" in Rome. 1994-1995 Degree in Physics, cum laude, at the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
