Elettra's Stand
LIGHT ON PROTEINS
Proteins are the theme of Elettra's stand within AREA Science Park's exhibing area. First stop on the colorful highly snapped giganitc protein, followed by the proteins' crystals: the stand volunteers held amazing shows using small proteins construction kits. Then a microscope to observe crystals, large educational panels, a 3D printer in collaboration with Idea Prototipi and some workstation for the Foldit game to discover the proteins' structures.
Elettra's exhibing area was designed by the Nanostructures and Structural Biology laboratories in collaboration with the Sissi beamline and the Communication Activity.
