On December 10th 2019 the ambassador of India in Italy, H.E. Mrs Reenat Sandhu paid a visit to Elettra - Sincrotrone Trieste .
Received by Marco Marazzi, Elettra's General Vice coordinator, and Andrea Lausi, Head of BL XPRESS, the Ambassador visited Elettra and FERMI lightsources.
In signing the visitor’s book at the end of his visit, she wrote the following words: "I wish Elettra and all the scientists engaged here, especially from India and Italy all the very best in their work which has important benefits for humanity".
