Registration will open on Sunday October 18 at 6:00 p.m. and will continue on Monday; delegates will be able to collect the conference bag, the book of abstracts and their badges. The conference secretariat will be available on site every day until 4 pm.

Welcome reception

Delegates are invited to participate to the welcome reception, which will be held at Starhotels Savoia Excelsior Palace on Sunday evening, from 19:30 to 21:30.


Free lunches will be served on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 13:00 to 14:00. This will encourage discussion between participants in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.


Speakers will be able to use their own laptop or one provided by the organizers. They are requested to test their presentations before the beginning of their session. Speakers should bring their presentations in PowerPoint format.

Poster Session

Presenters are encouraged to start hanging their posters already on Sunday evening! Numbers to identify posters according to labels reported in the book of abstracts will be provided.

Conference picture

We plan to take the conference picture on Tuesday 20, just before lunch.

Social dinner

Social dinner will take place at Ristorante Furlan in Monrupino, in the Karst Plateau above Trieste, a region extending across the border of southwestern Slovenia and northeastern Italy. The dinner will be accompanied by a wine tasting event.

Buses for the visit to Elettra and social dinner

Two buses will take the delegates to the visit to Elettra and social dinner. The bus heading to Elettra will leave earlier that that going to the restaurant. Departures times will be announced at the conference.
