By Air

Trieste International Airport located at "Ronchi dei Legionari" has direct connections to international airports in Milan, Rome, London and Munich.
There is a bus service (ITL 15,000) between Trieste airport and Trieste railway station (about 45 minutes; Tickets can be purchased on the bus). Buses to town leave shortly after flight arrivals. From town to the airport, buses leave from the air terminal located at Trieste Railway Station ninety minutes before flight departure. Alternatively, you can take a taxi (ITL 90,000).

Participants flying into Venice airport "Marco Polo" should take the bus to Mestre Railway Station (about half an hour) and then take a train to Trieste (about two hours).

Conference Location

The meeting will take place at the Stazione Marittima Congress Centre of Trieste (see spot number 18 of the map). Here is a map of Trieste (City Centre). The Congress Centre is located in the old Trieste terminal of the transoceanic passenger ships and it is surrounded by a magnificent scenery and the sea of the Trieste harbour. The Stazione Marittima is at walking distance from the city centre and many of the downtown hotels. Bus transportation and taxi service (a 5-minute ride) from/to the railway station and the air terminal are available. The address is
