The main achievement of the PROTEO project have been:

• Activate in the Elettra laboratories a dedicated facility for the production and characterization of recombinant proteins expressed in prokaryotic and eukaryotic systems;
• Activate in the University of Nova Gorica laboratories a Unit for the selection and production of recombinant nano-antibodies;
• Contribute the development of anticancer drugs screening (LNCIB and University of Udine);
• Develope devices to identify the breast cancer biomarker Her2, and selected recombinant antibodies to detect tumoral biomarkers for research and diagnostic applications (Elettra, University of Nova Gorica, COBIK);
• Scientific results published in international journals and/or communicated to conferences;
• Training of highly qualified scientific /technical personnel;
• Create a network of experts in the field of proteins of cancer.
