The Partnership is composed of 5 partners represented by basic research laboratories, that garantee scientific excellence and multidisciplinarity, and by technological research centers that add a productivity chain to lead to application and access the market.

The competences are highly diversified among the partners and all activities will be conducted sharing people, ideas and infranstructures.

 

LP - Elettra - Sincrotrone Trieste, Trieste, IT Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste is a multidisciplinary international laboratory of excellence, specialized in generating high quality synchrotron and free-electron laser light and applying it in materials science.

PP1 – Univerza v Novi Gorici, Nova Gorica, SLO University of Nova Gorica is an independent, research oriented and student friendly university, where knowledge is formed within a harmonious relationship between students and researchers, so that the knowledge can be transferred to younger generations and into business environment.

The National Laboratory CIB (LNCIB) is a science centre based on the high education in biotechnology research field.

PP3 – COBIK, Center Odličnosti za Biosenzoriko, Instrumentacijo in Procesno Kontrolo, Solkan, SLO Centre of Excellence for Biosensors, Instrumentation and Process Control, established in 2009, is a private found research institution and works in the most challenging and promising fields, such as bio-chemistry, bio-instrumentation, optics, new materials and advanced new cleaning processes in pharmacy. The Centre consists of five laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment and currently runs 7 research projects.

PP5 – Universitŕ degli Studi di Udine, Dipartimento di Scienze Mediche e Biologiche, Udine, IT The University has created various tools to carry out the transfer of technology and knowledge, in terms of consultation, analysis and planning, and is also working together with business incubation and support services, research laboratories and mixed university-business laboratories, company R&D labs and certification and service centres.
