The European Spallation Source (ESS) Accelerator Collaboration Board took place on October 3 in Trieste, Italy hosted by Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste. The Accelerator Collaboration Board gathers the representatives of the Partner Institutes involved in the realization of the ESS accelerator and the management of the Technical Directorate and Accelerator Division of ESS.
The purpose of the meeting was to review the status of the construction of the project and discuss common aspects related to the provision of the in-kind contributions by the Partners, such as the preparation for work on ESS site, documentation and CE marking. The status and major achievements in the realization of the IK contributions were reported by the Partner Institutes.
The meeting finished with a tour to the Elettra facilities and to the Magnetic Measurement Laboratory.

Elettra is committed to the realization of in-kind contributions for the proton accelerator and more specifically the construction of all the magnets and related power converters installed in the superconducting part of the linac and in the transfer lines to the target and to the beam dump, the RF power stations for the superconducting spoke cavity linac and the wire scanner acquisition system for the beam diagnostics.
