XXVIII International Conference on Science, Arts and Culture

TRANSNATIONAL COOPERATION IN CULTURAL HERITAGE SCIENCE

Veli Lošinj, Croatia, 24th - 28th September 2018

Cultural heritage scientists, archaeologists and art historians are routinely sending proposals to large-scale facilities (synchrotrons, free electron lasers, ion accelerators, neutron and laser laboratories) for experiments with particular needs. This, in turn, paves the way to new international collaborations, especially when different artistic and cultural expressions do not coincide with political borders.
The conference has brought together scientists with diverse backgrounds with the aim of discussing fresh results obtained in the field of Cultural Heritage Science and is encouraging new international collaborations. The conference was dedicated to the collaboration in the Central Eastern European area and has been realized in collaboration between ECSAC, ICTP, ELETTRA and SISSA, with the contribution of proESOF.
