Ambassador of Malta Visits Elettra: Focus on Research and Cultural Heritage

The Ambassador of the Republic of Malta, H.E. Daniel Azzopardi, visited Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste yesterday together with the Honorary Consul of Malta in Trieste, Alberto Panizzoli, for a meeting focused on scientific activities and potential areas of collaboration. The visit opened with an overview by Giorgio Paolucci, Chief Scientific Officer, who outlined the facility’s main research lines and future development perspectives. During the visit, Marco Zangrando presented FERMI, highlighting its role in advancing the study of matter.
Also in attendance were Marco Marazzi, Vice-Coordinator, and Ilaria Carlomagno, researcher at Elettra. |

In this context, the collaboration already underway with Heritage Malta was discussed as a concrete example of joint activity.
