AREA Science Park's Conference on Infrastructures Sustainability - technical visit

On the sidelines of the meeting organised today, 30 June, at Area Science Park on the topic "Towards a concrete and measurable sustainability of infrastructures" to discuss future scenarios, potential and results, a technical visit to Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste was held in the morning for 15 delegates.
The event organised in collaboration with IP4FVG, the digital innovation hub of Friuli Venezia Giulia, as part of the Cantiere 4.0 activities took place in the afternoon of 30 June online.
During the event, sustainability in infrastructures, measurement and impacts were discussed, with concrete examples from the worlds of research, ports and railways: Prof. Alfonso Franciosi, President and CEO of Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste, participated as a speaker, while in the technical tour the guests were guided by Chief Scientific Officer Giorgio Paolucci.
