On June 7th Prof. Alfonso Franciosi met with Mrs. Melissa Denecke, Director Division of Physical and Chemical Sciences of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), to sign a new agreement between IAEA and Elettra to regulate access to the XRF beamline and experimental station for advanced X-ray spectrometry and related analytical techniques and applications.
The agreement aims at strengthening the scientific collaboration between the two institutions to enhance capacity building and facilitate the expansion of synchrotron-based research in IAEA Member States.
