FVG 6th Committee: visit to AREA Science Park and Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste

The members of the 6th Committee of the Regional Council of Friuli Venezia Giulia, in the framework of a programme of visits to the main scientific and technological centres in the region, stopped at AREA Science Park and Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste to learn more about their ongoing projects and the enterprises headquartered in the parks.

Led by President Giuseppe Sibau (Progetto FVG/Ar), the group visited the facilities of Elettra and were welcomed by President and CEO Alfonso Franciosi, who illustrated the versatile uses of the Elettra and FERMI light sources.
