Inaugurated the New Shared Reception of Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste and Area Science Park

Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste and Area Science Park officially inaugurated today, Wednesday, January 29, a new shared reception designed to optimize the reception and surveillance services of the Basovizza Campus. The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place in the morning in the presence of the President and CEO of Elettra, Prof. Alfonso Franciosi, and the General Director of Area Science Park, Dr. Anna Sirica, highlighting the importance of collaboration between the two institutions in managing shared infrastructures. Located on the ground floor of the T-1 building, the new reception covers an area of approximately 250 square meters and meets various operational needs. In addition to centralizing the surveillance service for the entire campus, the new space has been designed to improve access management through automatic turnstiles and provide functional environments to support daily activities.

The facility includes a multipurpose room, a waiting area, restrooms, and dedicated spaces for mail distribution and reception, contributing to a more efficient internal organization of the campus. With this inauguration, Elettra and Area Science Park strengthen their commitment to an increasingly modern, secure, and functional research environment.
