IV Pulsed Power Radio Frequency Sources Workshop

On November 11th, 12th, and 13th 2025 the fourth Pulsed Power Radio Frequency Sources Workshop – PPRFS2025 was held, organized by Elettra - Sincrotrone Trieste S.C.p.A. 

The event takes place every two years and is hosted each time by a different facility.

The workshop aimed to provide an opportunity for experts actively involved in pulsed power radio frequency systems to share experiences, problems and solutions and exchange ideas for upgrades. 

The focus was on applications utilizing pulsed klystrons, high voltage modulators and RF passive components operating at L, S, C and X bands, through a clear understanding of current experiences, as well as future needs identified by laboratories worldwide.

Following the successful format of the previous editions, in order to have an efficient exchange of information the number of participants was limited, addressing the invitation to experts actively involved in pulsed RF systems only.
The goal was to share detailed experiences of good practice and challenging issues faced at each facility, to gain advice or share strategies for the advancement of our own institutes and, if possible, to coordinate development activities.
