The Ambassador of France to Italy, HE Martin Briens with a delegation composed of Rachel Caruhel, Vice Consul General, Riccardo Illy, Honorary Consul, Pauline Le Louargant, Political Advisor and Louis Capucine, Head of Attractiveness and Business Economics, made a brief but significant visit to Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste yesterday, Tuesday 18 February.
They were welcomed by Giorgio Paolucci, Chief Scientific Officer and Marco Marazzi, Deputy General Coordinator of Elettra and during a short tour they had the opportunity to visit SYRMEP, the beamline dedicated to advanced radiology, discovering, thanks to the manager Giuliana Tromba, its potential in the field of medical imaging and cultural heritage.The Ambassador, despite the limited time, appreciated the high technological level of the facility and before the end of the visit, left the following message in the guest book "Thank you very much for this fascinating visit. I am very impressed with the level of expertise, technology and savoir-faire I have seen here." |
