Tutorial of Advanced Synchrotron Techniques at Elettra

On May 26th, 27th and 28th Elettra hosted a group of 22 students, coming from the Montan Universität Leoben and the TU Graz , who attended the school “Synchrotron Radiation in Materials Science”. Co-organized by the Montan Universität Leoben (AT)  and the Technical University Graz, the fourth edition of the school has been made possible, also this year, by  the collaboration of some beamlines of Elettra.

On Monday 26th  the students, in small groups, partecipated to some demonstrative experiments performed on the SAXS, DXRL, XRD, MCX, SISSI and  XAFS beamlines.

On Tuesday 27th morning, after a short presentation of the Synchrotron, the students visited ELETTRA and FERMI, and afterwards SYRMEP and TWINMIC beamlines.
On Tuesday afternoon, and in the morning of Wednesday 28th, the students attended a series of lectures on the data treatment.
