Visit from H.E. Ambassador of South Africa to Italy Ms. Nosipho Jezile

Tuesday, June 28, 2022 - Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste received the visit from Her Excellency Ms. Nosipho Nausca-Jean Jezile Ambassador of South Africa to Italy, and Mr. Bennie Lombard, Multilateral Counselor of the Embassy of South Africa.

Welcomed by Prof. Alfonso Franciosi, President and CEO of Elettra, and Giorgio Paolucci Chief Scientific Officer, they visited the Elettra and FERMI experimental rooms.

At the end of the visit H.E. Ms. Nosipho Jezile left a dedication in the signature book of which we report 'What a lesson about beamlines, applications importance of time and measure! Thank you President and team of experts and researchers. South African scientists are keen to continue with exchange, learning, including the esatblishment of a similar innovative facility in South Africa. Nosipho."
