Abstract
Our present understanding of atmospheric processes has been derived from field observations, and models using data collected in laboratories. In the talk, the application of spectroscopic techniques to the study of atmospheric reactions will be discussed. The examples will include photofragmentation and kinetics experiments on molecules like ozone and nitrogen dioxide.
