TMB Meeting

Abstract
* Participants - Udine: Luca - Imperial: Janusz, Asif - IASA: Sakis, Vassiliki, Mary - Brunel: Roger, Chenxi - Elettra: Roberto, Laura, Milan - GRNET: Costas - INFN: - IBM: - IMAA: - CNIT: * Integration matters (up to 1h20m) - Update on the issue of the PR being updated with info about IEs w/ multiple IMs > CC took place, problem solved and people involved agreed to a solution, WSDL finalised > Roberto asks when this process will be complete > Roger hopes to have things ready within August, he will be available until Aug.19. - Results on the tests of the integration of the WfMS w/ the PR > Li was not present, Asif commented that Li has done certain tests with the dummy PR currently available > Asif has trouble including QoS functionality in the editor with no finalised, tested client available and the schemas changing > Roger comments that required information was provided to him much too late and the WSDL was changing constantly as a result. He believes end there will be an implementation ready at the end of this week. - Workflow issues (update to include user DN) > Luke has done some work on the workflows for this purpose but has not finished > Milan comments that there is no CREAM workflow for the Elettra app o The one shown at 2nd y. review was never updated to the new IE WSDL o Luke or Marko has to implement the new version w/ CREAM and/or WMProxy o Only the IE w/f is now available > Roberto comments that most of the Elettra people involved in testing the workflows will be leaving on a vacation next week. > Roberto adds that there is a CREAM w/f ready and just needs to be merged w/ the one using the IE > Janusz: Luke has written a new CREAM submission w/f, and also a w/f template, now it just needs to be integrated > We need access to a CREAM node, however Sergio and the other INFN people have left INFN probably (noone from INFN present to confirm). Some ideas thrown in (CREAM on IASA?). Janusz comments that if a new CREAM version is installed with a new WSDL interface, there is no hope. If it is a part of the GRIDCC testbed, changing its interface without permission is contrary to previous agreements. > Laura to write email to Massimo Sgaravato to ask for relevant information. > Roberto reminds the WMProxy w/f requirement, Janusz comments that it\'s in the same state, and that the CREAM w/f is more importand and urgent. Also, IC owns a WMProxy node so it\'s much easier in regard to having support for it. - Access to IE over https is now ready - WfMS-kerberos integration update > Almost complete, all testing will have finished within the week. - Status of the IE patch to integrate latest version w/ the VCR > Integration almost finished > IE 1.4.3 to come out one of the next days and solve relevant problems > CNIT people still have problems w/ one of their IMs, using the latest version (provided by Francesco) -- this is a crucial point as it blocks the VCR evaluation from CNIT. Luca said Mirco will try to talk with Francesco and try to solve the issues faced by CNIT. Probably it will not be possible to carry out the evaluation with CNIT, as it seems. - Results of the commodity layer tests > Local-level functionality tested, but no integration has really taken place. Roberto is working on relevant integration of the commodity layer\'s classes with other parts of the system. - VCR/WMProxy integration update > Laura: No work on this. Will try to put this in commodity libraries and then in the VCR. - Status of the evaluation of the VCR by the CMS application people > No progress, further than what happened in the AHM of London. Scenario defined there was too vague, and a full scenario must be constructed. Luca needs help from INFN people for that. - AS wrapping up, but it\'s not possible to connect to IE/IRS over glite https. Solution still sought for this. - Update of the integration matrix > Chart updated, attached to the email to the list. * Deliverable matters (to be co-ordinated by Gaetano, up to 20m) - Gaetano not attending, discussion pending. * Final review demos discussion (to be co-ordinated by Roberto, up to 20m) - Roberto thinks there will be serious difficulty completing all demos. - Hopefully some technologies (e.g. monitoring) applied to the Elettra use case can be applied to the other use cases and applications. * Next meetings: - Roberto to co-ordinate meetings on the 6th and the 13th of August; - Gaetano to co-ordinate meeting on the 20th of August if he is present and he can attend - Costas to co-ordinate meeting on the 27th of August. That will be the last consortium conference call, to wrap things up and evaluate the project results.
