Polymer X-ray microscopy: From the carbon K-absorption
edge to multi-keV photon energies
Olivier Dhez
( ESRF Beamline ID21)
Abstract
X-ray microscopy in combination with Infrared microscopy is an emerging
and exciting capability to perform polymer spectromicroscopy studies.
Examples of polymer studies will presented that were performed at the
K-absorption the NSLS, Stony brook using the carbon K-absorption edge
and the ID21 X-ray microscopy beamline using multi-keV photons. The
importance of using complementary microscopy techniques as for example
Infrared microscopy will be outlined.
