Temperature-Programmed Photoemission @ BACH

Temperature-programmed (TP) photoemission spectroscopy (core levels, ARPES, work function) can be performed at BACH with controlledtemperatureramp thanks to a PID controller and a quick acquisition mode.

The wide photon energy range of the BACH beamline (from extreme UV to soft-X ray regime) allows the possibility to acquire from the same sample temperature programmed XPS of core levels, temperature programmed work function measurements (usually perfomed at the lowest photon energy), and temperature programmed ARPES. Temperature is recorded together with photoemission regions.

Multiple region acquisitions (e.g., multiple core level regions) are possible.
Quick photoemission acquisition mode allows  fast TP acquisitions (300 ms/spectrum).
