Shipping Parcels
The users who need to ship samples for planned VUO proposals are encouraged to use the VUO website (Shipping section).
The costs of transportation (including return!), insurance, taxes and customs must be paid by the user affiliation. In order to avoid delay in receiving materials, we recommend you to write clearly the name of your local contact(s) at BACH beamline, with his/her internal phone number. It is strongly advised to e-mail us the tracking number of your parcel. When you need to have back your samples and instrumentation, please email us the name of your Courier/Carrier and the Customer Code (Codice Cliente) of your affiliation.

Trieste City Bus Lines Bus Timetabe City Bus Lines 39 and 51 connect the Railway station to Elettra or Basovizza; The city bus fare is about 1 euro and the ticket can be purchased at kiosks or automatic machines (not on board). Note that there is also a coach service (coach number 51) which connects Trieste Airport Ronchi dei Legionari to Trieste Bus and Railway station (Fare 3.25 euro, the ticket can be purchased at the airport) |

From Trieste FVG Airport Ronchi dei Legionari: OPTION A: City Bus Timetable
2. From Trieste Bus and Railway station take Bus Lines 39 and 51 which connect the Railway station to Elettra or Basovizza. We advise to ask the driver if the bus will stop at Elettra or Basovizza because some of the buses 39 and 51 do not stop here.
