Magnets & Pulsed Magnets
The Magnets and Pulsed Magnets Operative Unit is in charge of the following tasks:

To develop and built pulsed power circuits, which drive the pulsed magnets, needed for the injection/extraction processes.

To develop the design of suitable pulsed magnets to be connected to the circuits mentioned above.

To run and maintain the power circuits of the Elettra injection system.
In the past the Unit has realised two main systems:

The Elettra storage ring injection system (1991 - 1993)
-
The Bessy 2 storage ring injection system (1995 - 1997)
